IP Phone (News - Alert) Warehouse, a leading supplier of voice and video supplies and an authorized partner with Barracuda, announced the addition of new VoIP PBX communications servers from Barracuda CudaTel to its business telephony solutions.
Barracuda CudaTel systems are based on standard Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP), so they are compatible with leading SIP phones and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers. These solutions are developed in collaboration with the open-source FreeSWITCH project.
The flexibility of CudaTel systems relieves businesses from being locked in to proprietary hardware with hidden expenses. There are also no per-user, per-phone or per-feature fees.
For example, when businesses use Polycom (News - Alert) Phones with their CudaTel Communications Server, such as the Polycom SoundPoint IP 550, Polycom IP 335, or Polycom IP 450 their CudaTel server automatically provisions the phones, which saves valuable time and resources.
Automatic provisioning using CudaTel systems also extends to Polycom Conference Phones and Snom phones, such as the Snom 320, Snom 370, and Snom 870.
SIP phones have become the perfect mobility solution for small business and home offices. Benefits of SIP phones are many: thanks to reduced hardware; improved customer service because of added features such as: call transfer and 8 DID Ring Tone; stronger survivability, as the phones provide real-time communications; ISP-enhanced intelligent communications; and scalability, as the phones meet all mobility needs."IP Phone Warehouse decided to add the CudaTel product line because of Barracuda's reputation in the IT industry and due to popular demand from our customers," said Tyler Hrdlicka, director of Business Development at IP Phone Warehouse, in a statement.
"When looking at the CudaTel line we found great synergy between many of our customers. Several of our clients were actually buying phones from us to use on their CudaTel phone systems so we decided it was time to embrace this opportunity and start selling the CudaTel phone systems ourselves," Hrdlicka added.
The new VoIP PBX (News - Alert) communications server offers unlimited user support and a variety of features to businesses of all sizes. The server is easy to set up, install and provision, company officials said.
Additionally, users receive firmware updates and system enhancements through optional Energize Update license programs.
