There is no doubt that the proliferation of social media has not only changed the way Internet and mobile users create and share content, but quickly penetrated the enterprise, altering the way we do business.
Founded in 2011, DoubleDutch is a new player in the space focused on creating and providing enterprise engagement apps to help event attendees, sales professionals and other enterprise employees be more productive and get more out of their customer experiences by adding an additional social element.
DoubleDutch’s mobile apps span three different areas of mobile CRM engagement with three apps, including HIVE, FLOCK and PRIDE. When Jennifer Hawkin, a member of the company’s marketing team met with TMCnet in San Jose, Calif., she explained that DoubleDutch’s social CRM apps bring the best of the mobile and consumer world to the enterprise with its suite of enterprise-focused products that not only help to increase transparency in the workplace but help facilitate that transparency in a social, contextual way.
HIVE, still in Beta testing, allows users to discover the easiest way to update your CRM while on-the-go from your smartphone or tablet. The app is designed to engage, incentivize and mobilize salesforces to enable sales professionals to update opportunities, share activity and access information directly from their mobile device.
FLOCK is an enterprise event app that provides users with an interactive mobile experience for enterprise events, conferences and meetings. Flock allows users to connect and engage with other attendees or employees by adding an additional social level of communication. FLOCK is a white-label event app that provides an interactive experience by enabling those present at events to interact, share activity and access event information on their mobile device.
PRIDE is a mobile collaboration app that allows business teams to keep their entire teams up to date on customers and projects by providing a platform for users to make quick status updates and create real-time group collaboration and problem solving. According to Hawkin, PRIDE allows companies to empower their teams by creating a forum where transparency becomes efficiency and short status updates replace emails, meetings and duplication.
Hawkin told TMCnet that in order to stay ahead of the growing social market as it continues to infiltrate the enterprise, DoubleDutch intends to stay on the cutting edge of what is happening in the consumer space and remains dedicated to adhering to customer demands as it applies to the enterprise.
Each application provides Web-based analytic dashboards that pull detailed reporting that dig down into the metrics of each user and their interactions. All applications are currently available on BlackBerry, Android (News - Alert) and iOS devices.
