GraphicMail, an e-mail service provider encouraging companies to switch to push mobile text campaigns, has reduced the price of its Mobile Links in Text Messaging Campaigns during this holiday season.
Nicholas Eckert, CEO at GraphicMail, said the mobile price reduction comes just in time to for the time of year when people's inboxes get cluttered with e-mails.
“By adding a weblink to a mobile text you can create a promotional campaign and broadcast it to a mobile device where the likelihood it will get delivered and opened is significantly higher. It will help business cut through the deluge of holiday promotional emails,” he said.
The company has built an innovative system which complements its products and services to allow for communications to consumers on what is convenient to them. It also allows users to create a free mobile site, receiving the link via SMS when done.
Getting instant feedback and report metrics on using these techniques are instant. Their offer on digital newsletters allows their clients to optimize their e-mail marketing to cater to consumers who receive mail via their smartphones.
These have proven effective for many last-minute alerts, event updates and competitions.
SMS/ text messaging mobile campaign can be used for mobile coupons, event invitations or full mobile sites – and the company is making it affordable by allowing the creation and promotion of a mobile site at the same price as a regular SMS.
“Traditionally, there have been concerns regarding weblinks in SMS messages, due to the limited penetration of smartphones. This, however, is no longer the case as smartphone penetration is in excess of 50 percent in the U.S. (Nielsen). And with a system able to render mobile sites on over 5000 mobile devices, there is no need to worry about whether the person has a smartphone or not,” added Eckert.
The company has also put in major effort to introduce a simple–to-use yet powerful newsletter editor late last year. Most small business owners who use e-mail marketing are not familiar with HTML, let alone have the time to search for images and create layouts for their mailings.
GraphicMail’s editor makes it easy to select tried and tested templates, edit text inside images and apply your own branding to the layout via a simple color-picker.
