nexMatrix, a manufacturer of the Protel PBX (News - Alert) premise PBX, the Protelity hosted PBX platform, nexSwitch level 4 and 5 softswitches and the ATLANTIS suite of CRM/SCM/ERP applications, has recently opened a new office in Nampa, ID for manufacturing expansion. The new office is an important step in realizing the company’s goals for opening new global markets, starting with the Asia-Pacific region for the start of its expansion opportunities.
The nexSwitch Softswitch is a state of the art switch for Internet Telephony (News - Alert) Providers and large scale enterprises. nexSwitch is built on the ATLANTIS database and billing system that has been around since 1981. nexSwitch also brings into play a powerful CRM to keep all notes of conversations with customers. A full incident ticketing system provides a powerful support tool as well.
“Not only are the Philippines a crucial gateway to the Asia-Pacific region, but the country offers very favorable conditions for the strong, sustained growth of technologically advanced new businesses” said Dianne Ursini, CEO of nexMatrix Telecom, in a statement. “The new office provides an important step in realizing the company’s goals of expanding into global markets while remaining competitive in the region.”
The new facility, located in Dumaguete City, is currently staffed by seven full-time employees with plans for growth over the next year as the company expands its presence in the region. Dumaguete City is one of the top 10 upcoming cities for business processes in the Philippines, making it a perfect choice for nexMatrix.
nexMatrix chose to establish a location in the Philippines based in part on the rapidly growing installed base of businesses. nexMatrix plans to grow this base by providing a viable and cost-effective alternative to Cisco, Panasonic, Samsung (News - Alert), NEC, Avaya and others by enabling the region to take advantage of a comprehensive, end-to-end portfolio of innovative technology solutions that is unavailable from any other manufacturer.
