The Slingbox 500 and Slingbox 350 allow consumers to watch their TV shows, sporting events and premium content on smartphones, tablets, laptops and connected devices, anywhere, anytime. To make things even better, Sling Media (News - Alert) has joined a strategic partnership with ViXS Systems. Under this partnership, XCode 4210 and the XCode 4112 network media processor SoCs developed by ViXS System have been selected to power the all new Slingbox 500 and Slingbox 350 products.
Sling Media has made new performance standards for streaming video throughout the home and the world via the Internet in up to full HD 1080p resolution. These new Slingbox products offer higher performance, superior video quality, lower cost and lower power consumption. Additionally, the Slingbox 500 supports dual-band Wi-Fi networking.
