BT (News - Alert) Global Services will offer TEM Mobility services from the MDSL portfolio to its customers under an agreement with the providers of global TEM enterprise and Market Data Management solutions.
These MDSL (News - Alert) Telecom Expense Management (TEM) products and services will be offered under BT’s managed mobility expenses services for enterprise and public sector customers.
“We are pleased to be working with BT on new opportunities and routes to market for both organizations,” said Ben Mendoza (News - Alert), CEO of MDSL. “This agreement opens up a range of growth opportunities around the world on which, with its global reach and capabilities, MDSL is well-placed to capitalize.”
BT will leverage this new addition of MDSL Mobile Telecom Expense management to its Managed Mobility Expenses portfolio to enjoy more flexibility required to address specific requirement of its customers.
The BT Managed Mobility Expenses will provide customers with more visibility of its global mobility expenditure.
In addition, this tool will provide recommendations that will bring down costs by maximizing tariffs and changing user behavior.
“Managing and controlling mobility expenditure is key for our customers right now, given their increasing acceptance of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and the potential that this creates for significant growth in data usage and the associated costs,” said Jonathan Brasnett, head of Global Mobility Capability, BT Global Services (News - Alert).
BT Global Services was in news earlier this year when it was positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders Quadrant of the "Magic Quadrant for Communications Outsourcing and Professional Services."
This position has been maintained in this report for the third consecutive year.
