Veramark Technologies (News - Alert), a provider of telecom expense management and reporting software, announced the availability of its VeraSMART wireline and wireless call accounting software within Ingram Micro’s (News - Alert) Solution Centers in Buffalo.
The call accounting software is designed for telecom managers responsible for answering usage and expense reporting questions about their telephony and unified communications equipment.
The partnership benefits Ingram Micro and its channel partners as they can configure Veramark products through the Netformx KnowledgeBase and Netformx DesignXpert, which includes Veramark's SKUs in the Ingram Micro U.S. and Canada online ordering systems.
The addition of VeraSMART Call Accounting within Ingram Micro Solution Centers allows Ingram Micro to offer a full-featured call accounting solution that simplifies usage and expense reporting in a Cisco (News - Alert) UCM or CME/UC500 environment.
Vermark has also joined Cisco Developer Network (CDN) program to deliver the solution to the industry. The solution is compatible with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME/UC500), as well as call accounting for company mobile phones.
Additionally VeraSMART wireline call accounting also works with Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Avaya Aura Session Manager, Avaya IP Office, Avaya's former Nortel PBX (News - Alert) brands, Microsoft Lync, ShoreTel, Siemens, and many other telephony PBX manufacturers. The solution is delivered via a single browser-based tool.
VeraSMART wireless call accounting is compatible with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon Wireless (News - Alert) and saves wireless plan managers hours or days each month.
"End customers and resellers use Ingram Micro's Solution Centers to get experience with a wide range of new technologies they are evaluating for their telephony and communications," said Fran Murello, senior manager, Solution Center, Ingram Micro US, in a statement.
Cisco partners benefit as they can add call accounting value much easier with each Cisco UCM order. Their end-customers can use a single software tool for "unified" wireline and wireless communications reporting starting day one, Murello added.
