Comings & Goings: Industry Vet Kevin Simms Joins Comview as Director of Marketing

Comview Corporation, a premier provider of telecom expense management, wireless mobility management and call accounting software and services, recently appointed industry expert Kevin Simms as Director of Marketing.
Simms brings with him more than two decades of strategic and tactical marketing experience, including more than twelve years in the cloud-based, B2B telecommunications software industry.
In his new role as Director of Marketing, Simms will use his vast experience to further accelerate Comview’s growth in the fixed and wireless telecom management space. He will also support the company’s channel partners and engage with clients to make sure that the voice of the customer is reflected in all aspects of Comview’s products and services, the company said in a release.
“We are happy that Kevin has agreed to come on board,” said Comview CEO, John Perri. “His professionalism, broad experience and unique blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking and creative execution have already been making a positive impact on the quality of our communications, product and pipeline. That was just on a contract basis, so we’re excited about the possibilities now that he has taken on a full-time leadership role.”
Before becoming a part of Comview, Simms held senior marketing positions at Enghouse Interactive (News - Alert) and CosmoCom, as well as at Adecco and Olsten Corporation. At the latter, he concentrated on digital marketing, content development, corporate communications and PR.
He has also provided consulting services to companies in a variety of industries, including Comview.
