F5, a company offering wide ranging deployment options, has recently expanded its telecom platform deployment solution portfolio, with the introduction of VIPRION hardware offerings.
The new solution, comprising both 4480 chassis and 4300 performance blades, significantly expands F5’s portfolio of physical and virtual solutions. The new solutions will help service providers and enterprises address rapidly increasing traffic levels and the growing demand for enhanced services, a press release revealed.
When it comes to telecom platform deployment, with the VIPRION solutions, users are expected to enjoy a number of performance advantages, which the competing ADC (News - Alert) products fail to deliver.
Leveraging F5 hardware and virtual platforms with the company’s powerful clustered multiprocessing technologies, F5’s VIPRION solutions enable organizations to remain flexible as they build out dynamic infrastructures—including cloud and virtualization technologies—to support business initiatives and user requirements.
F5’s VIPRION solutions are designed to provide a scalable telecom deployment platform that can easily combine optimization, traffic management, and security services as organizations grow and the company’s IT initiatives evolve. VIPRION products enable users to increase processing power by simply adding another performance blade, ensuring that additional capabilities can be supported without disrupting existing services.
In contrast to competing products, F5’s VIPRION solutions can be easily and cost-effectively deployed.
“We work closely with organizations to tailor solutions that address their IT challenges. F5’s new VIPRION solutions are a good fit for enterprises and service providers pursuing hardware-based or hybrid application delivery architectures,” Director of National Programs at Clearshark, Roger Niles, noted in a statement.
The VIPRION telecom platform deployment solution will be available later this month.
