In one of the latest advancements in this sector, Overture expanded of its line of ultra low-latency, NEBS Level 3-certified high-performance Ethernet service demarcation devices to increase service reliability and performance within a cost-effective Carrier Ethernet solution for service providers.
As a preferred Carrier Ethernet edge and aggregation partner for service providers and network operators worldwide, the company offers greater flexibility and freedom of choice to customers. With these new solutions, Overture provides access to critical features such as intelligent Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring.
As part of the expansion of its 2x Ethernet demarcation portfolio, the company will be introducing multiple new models, including an entry-level model offering a lower cost point solution, additional customer facing interfaces, and ITU-T G.8261 syncE options for timing-critical applications.
The new models also include Overture 24SE, a high-performance, lower-cost edition of Overture's popular optical Ethernet demarcation and SLA monitoring unit; Overture 26RS, a solution that combines Overture 26S functionality and the 4-port Overture 26R interfaces; and Overture 26Y, Overture 26YS, Overture 26YR, and Overture 26YRS, which add a syncE hardware option to the entire Overture 26 product line.

The NEBS Level 3-Certified solutions are available in both temperature-hardened and non-hardened models. They are designed for maximum uptime, simple service management, and flexible deployment models.
