AgreeYa Mobility recently introduced Onvelop Cloud Platform, the industry’s first fully integrated cloud specifically designed for telecom platform deployment.
Based on the Windows Azure platform, the company helps telecom operators raise the bar on collaboration and communication for enterprise customers. It also enables them to offer targeted solutions to their enterprise customers by integrating disparate SaaS (News - Alert)/OTT offerings.
The recently debuted Onvelop Cloud Platform compliments the Onvelop client, which enables enterprise mobility by powering a patented and unique user experience on smartphones and tablets across platforms like iOS, Android (News - Alert) and Windows Phone.
“Windows Azure gives the telecom industry a powerful global cloud platform to serve customers on any device, and we’re excited that AgreeYa Mobility is offering Onvelop Cloud Platform on Windows Azure,” said Bill Hamilton, director, product marketing, Windows Azure, at Microsoft (News - Alert), in a press release.
AgreeYa Mobility’s Onvelop Cloud Platform offers a unified solution to telecom operators, which helps them enhance their offerings in the enterprise mobility space. It also allows them to increase their ARPU by increased usage of 3G & LTE (News - Alert) network for enterprise mobility offerings.
Additionally, the highly customizable solution is capable of integrating SME Apps, enterprise applications and ERP connectors. It also handles security, client provisioning, contact management and single sign on for disparate collaboration, communication and e-mail services.
“With Onvelop Cloud Platform on Windows Azure and Onvelop Client on smart phones and tablets across multiple platforms, AgreeYa Mobility is providing 'mobile avenues' for consumerization of IT,” added Krish Kupathil, CEO, AgreeYa Mobility. “The current fragmentation in enterprise offerings, disparate SaaS/OTT players and poor user experience on devices result in a lack of adoption of mobile devices for enterprise technologies. Onvelop will solve these problems for the telecom operators.”
