Radisys Corporation, a provider of ATCA infrastructure solutions for various telecom platform deployment applications, will conduct a live demo of its latest technology innovations covering Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLT), mobile video services and telecom cloud technology at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) event, taking place in Barcelona from February 25-28, 2013.
The technology showcase will include Radisys' latest telecom platform deployment solutions in various segments like LTE (News - Alert), deep packet inspection (DPI), small cells, media resource function (MRF), mobile security and the telecom cloud.
The MRF demonstration will include live HD VoLTE calls and its Rich Communications Suite (RCS) services that include video ring back tones, video conferencing and more. The company will also showcase virtualized evolved packet core (EPC) systems running on ATCA.
During the demo, visitors will have an opportunity to observe live calls on the latest newest smartphones and tablets enabled by the latest ATCA-based telecom platform deployment solutions from Radisys. In addition, Radisys' CTO Manish Singh will jointly present with SK Telecom (News - Alert), a South Korean mobile operator, to discuss the future of small cell technology. The panel presentation, "Smaller but Smarter: Making a Success of Small Cell Networks," is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
In another session, Radisys' Senior Director of Product Line Management for Software and Solutions, Todd Mersch will present "Deploying LTE Small Cells: Challenges, Lessons Learned and What's Next" on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
At the not-to-miss conference, the telecom platform deployment provider will also share its perspective on the mobile industry's vision for VoLTE/MRF and telecom cloud technologies.
Radisys’ Trillium TOTALeNodeB has been recently awarded the Mobility Tech Zone 2012 LTE Visionary Award from TMC (News - Alert), a global integrated media company, and Crossfire Media, an integrated marketing company with a core focus on technology. The Trillium TOTALeNodeB solution is designed to enable telecom equipment manufacturers to cut LTE small cell development time in half.
