Aternity (News - Alert) Inc., a provider of end-user experience management solutions, has recently partnered with Teradici, a leading industry innovator in desktop virtualization.

As per this partnership, Aternity will now integrate Teradici's PC-over-IP protocol with its Frontline Performance Intelligence Platform. With this integration, IT stakeholders will also be provided with comprehensive visibility into exactly how virtualized desktop and remote workstation users are experiencing critical application performance.

In a press release, Dan Cordingley, CEO of Teradici, said, "Aternity's support for the PCoIP protocol in the Frontline Performance Intelligence Platform provides organizations with a powerful tool for measuring the quality of the end-user experience. By providing detailed PCoIP protocol statistics such as latency and transaction response times, IT professionals will ensure they have deep visibility into application performance and user experience."

Both Aternity and Teradici correlate PCoIP latency with the actual business transaction response times and the VM image's health. By doing this, they are able to offer organizations with an in-depth understanding of application performance within the VMware View environment.
