Rove (News - Alert), a provider of mobile IT management solutions, announced the launch of version 6.2 of Mobile Admin.

Leveraging the version 6.2 of Mobile Admin, IT professionals can turn smartphones and tablets into high-performing, secure IT management platforms.

In addition to several usability improvements, Rove Mobile’s version 6.2 include notification of issues, and access to suite of functionality for incident notification, diagnosis, triage and resolution from any mobile device.

The Mobile Admin Push Dashboard and Notification system are designed to offer personally-scoped alerts to mobile devices. The new version has extended this system to include VMware alarms, mail servers and Windows service monitoring.

Moreover, Mobile Admin 6.2 supports the latest Blackberry OS 7 devices, IOS 5 for iPad and iPhone and Android (News - Alert) Honeycomb tablets running 3.2. Rove offers a free two-week trial of its high performing remote monitoring solution, company officials said.

Recently, Rove announced the launch of Rove Mobile (News - Alert) Admin 6.0, which features a new scope of functionality focused on further mobilizing IT monitoring and incident management systems.

Rove Mobile Admin 6.0 introduces a Dashboard that aggregates alerts, alarms, notifications and tickets from IT monitoring and incident management systems like Nagios, BMC Remedy Service Desk, BMC Performance Manager Portal, CA (News - Alert) Service Desk and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.
