Carousel Industries, which provides data networking and converged communications solutions including virtualization has revealed that Richard Losey has joined the company as senior vice president of services.

In his new role as the senior vice president, Losey will manage the virtualization company’s services delivery organization that currently supports more than 5,000 customers. He will report directly to CEO Jeff Gardner, a press release revealed.

Losey boasts over 23 years of IT industry expertise that he will be bringing to Carousel, having worked in various management and operations capacities. Losey is committed to further integrating the individual services offerings represented across the company’s entire solutions portfolio, officials at Carousel stated.

Prior to joining the company, Losey served a vice president at SAIC (News - Alert), where he worked for 16 years — first in IT program management and later in service management and delivery. During the course of his career, Losey has also worked for Roadway Logistics and Westinghouse Naval Systems.

Jeff Gardner, chief executive officer of Carousel Industries, said in a statement. “As leader of our services team, Rick will help us streamline our processes and procedures to make it even easier for our customers to get the high level of service they have come to expect from Carousel.”

Carousel Industries is growing rapidly, especially after their recent expansion into managed services, hosted and cloud applications.

“I am joining a team that is extremely well versed and competent in the services category,” said Losey. “I am excited to impart my own expertise and leadership to this team as we establish a solid platform to continue Carousel’s continued growth and success over the months and years to come.”
