CTI (News - Alert) Group upgraded its fully scalable, hosted call accounting solution for VoIP and traditional PBX systems with the release of Proteus 7.1, which brings voice management capabilities to its users.
The Proteus (News - Alert) product suite is designed to provide companies with detailed insight into their voice systems with the help of a new configurable dashboard, a personal call management feature, and new carrier costs reporting, said company officials.
"We have added some exciting time and cost saving features into this release of Proteus. It is very much focused on areas where we have great customer demand,” said Trevor Davis, head of product at CTI Group (News - Alert), in a press release.
The new configurable dashboard has been in use for two months and according to Davis, its flexibility has proved to be very helpful in reporting live call status. It has become quite popular with the team as it allows RSS feeds and even online TV channels. Users can convert the dashboard into a wallboard when a maximized full display is required.
The new report feature allows carrier invoice amounts to be compared with Proteus rated calls while the personal call management does exactly what its name suggests. It classifies business and personal call made from different devices. This comes in handy while making payroll deductions or for taxation purposes.
In addition to the host of optimization and call allocation features that the Proteus product suite already has, the new upgrade makes it a more comprehensive tool that can deliver accurate information and reports from across the organization.
CTI Group's products are used by some of the top service providers in North America and the United Kingdom, and play a trusted role in managing telephony costs at major corporations internationally.
