ThinkGrid, a UK-based provider of cloud computing platform has recently enhanced its cloud-based VoIP and unified communications service offerings with the addition of IntelePeer's (News - Alert) CoreCloud SIP Trunking services. The move is aimed to make cloud-based communication services affordable for the end users, especially the SMBs.

ThinkGrid delivers a range of hosted VoIP, hosted desktop and other productivity services, including Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync unified communications software, through a partner ecosystem which encompasses over 300 partners who build and deliver public, private and hybrid cloud services and solutions for over 35,000 users, in all different virtual markets and regions. ThinkGrid's cloud platform allows these resellers to provide their customers with enterprise-class IT services at very affordable prices.

SIP Trunking is a vital part of any UC service offering and ThinkGrid selected IntelePeer’s service after a thorough review of competing solutions, a press release revealed.

IntelePeer's CoreCloud SIP Trunking services are delivered on-demand from the IntelePeer CloudWorx platform and thus make a cost effective solution for the IT solution providers. The high quality solution is expected to offer great value to the end users, while the reasonable pricing means attractive revenue opportunities for resellers. Coming with rapid activation capability, IntelePeer's solution allows ThinkGrid resellers to deploy Microsoft Lync and other hosted services to their customers in a matter of days.

Early this year, ThinkGrid signed a deal with Ingram Micro (News - Alert) UK to offer its cloud platform and cloud services to Ingram Micro’s resellers. The partnership was part of a strategy by Ingram Micro to establish itself as an aggregator of cloud services.
