Stealth Communications, a provider of voice peering solutions for next generation networks, is gearing up for its Voice Peering Forum Summer 2008 event, June 23-24 at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, California.
Held twice a year, the Voice Peering Forum brings together professionals from organizations in all segments of the technology and telecom industry to discuss what’s new in the business of connecting networks and applications.
More than 100 organizations will be represented at the summer 2008 event. It will feature 25 topic-specific sessions over the course of two days, plus built-in opportunities to network and gain one-on-one insights into the latest voice peering trends.
Among the
sessions at the event are: “Telecoms in Uncertain Times,” “The Anatomy of Session Border Controllers,” “Software-based Telecoms,” “VoIP
Security Roundtable,” “Commercial Applications of Peer-to-Peer,” “Open Networks, Open Platforms,” “IPv6: Impact on Peering and Interconnection,” and “Transitioning Carrier Routing Systems to ENUM
.”
Other topics that will be covered include regulatory updates, bandwidth demand, voice mashups, federating social networks, voice peering strategies, and Internet sustainability.
Industry professionals participating in the event will include reps from Microsoft (News - Alert), Sprint, Forrester Research, JAJAH, NTT Communications, Oracle Communications, Verizon Network & Technology and Comcast, among many others. More than 60 speakers are confirmed for the event.
