VeriSign Enterprise Security Services announced the availability of its Web application Firewall Management Service which will be enabled by a strategic agreement with Imperva, specializing in application and database security technology.

 

VeriSign (News - Alert) will be able to provide customers premium services with optimized deployment, management and monitoring of the SecureSphere Web Application Firewall. Web Application Firewalls are important constituents of any application security strategy but they need more resources and expertise. VeriSign as a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) supports Imperva SecureSphere Web Application Firewall and delivers this technology as a managed service.
