Like father, like daughter, eh?
PowerNet Global (News - Alert) (News - Alert), a provider of VoIP call center solutions, has just named its new CEO, Allison Stevens, formerly chief operating officer of the Fairfield-based company, who will take the role over from her father, Bernie Stevens.
As the new CEO, Steven says that the goal of increasing commercial sales remains the same and the company continues to rely on independent agents for our growth in the enterprise market.
PowerNet Global is a communications provider of voice, data, SIP and managed solutions for both residential and commercial customers. It has gained notoriety in the industry for its NetDialer, an outbound dialer long distance service that is designed to be a cost effective and reliable voice solution for call centers.
VoIP is important in the call center, and most industries, because it is a more cost-effective, quicker to install, scalable, flexible and more efficient in so many ways than the alternative, which is traditional TDM service. PowerNet’s services have the potential to greatly impact industries that rely on customer service credibility, especially for the call center.
“The majority of our sales have a VoIP component, compared to three or four years ago when it was the reverse,” says Anton Loon, sales director for PowerNet Global. “If we don’t provide a full VoIP solution to call centers and any other business, we will get passed by in a hurry.”
The other issue is that call centers are moving to cloud-based, SaaS (News - Alert) (News -Alert) (Software as a Service) providers for core systems. “You need a VoIP voice solution to integrate with those systems,” Matt Ziebro, executive VP of sales, added.
In order to continue to keep customer satisfaction high, PowerNet has a staff of account managers who are committed to the enterprise and SMB markets (customers and agent support). “They manage the entire lifecycle of an account from testing to turn-up to support,” says Steven. “Additionally, we have an excellent 24/7 NOC (News - Alert) (News - Alert).”
As the new CEO, Steven says she plans on creating new services and enhancing existing award-winning products for this market. “Additionally, we will continue to provide excellent pricing, commissions, and support for our agents,” she says. “We will also be working to find new agents looking for a stable and ethical company committed to providing excellent service and support.”
