Call recording is no longer a luxury reserved for large enterprises or industries that have to meet compliance regulations. In today's business environment, call recording provides valuable data that can be analyzed to improve the overall operations of the organization, provide better customer service, as well as train employees to be more efficient across all their communication channels. As organizations adopt new communication technologies such as VoIP, it is important to ensure the call recording platform is compatible with the VoIP system that is in place.
The new STIP call recording solutions from Storacall, a global provider of high-capacity voice recording solutions, will be able to record standard VoIP protocols delivering compatibility and integration with all the leading VoIP telephony platforms.
The Storacall IPST supports RoIp, VoIP, SIP IP protocols as well as the IP protocols from major manufacturers including: Cisco Skinny, Avaya H323, H323, Nortel (News - Alert) Unistim, Ericsson H323, Siemens, Alcatel, NEC Protims, Intertel, Shoretel MGCP, Aastra Matra, LG Nortel, NEC Sip, Panasonic MGCP, Mitel, Samsung, Aastra SIP. Integration is also available for TAPI, Nortel CMS, Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync, Avaya CMS, Alcatel ACD and most PABX SMDR/CDR.
The range of compatibility allows the platform to be used by organizations small and large with single locations or multi-site, multi-branch, high-end environments to address legal compliance management, dispute resolution, staff training or improve the customer experience. Storacall STIP is available in budget, professional and enterprise formats to cover the different level of solutions each organization requires.
With a single server, anywhere from two to 240 channels of recording can be achieved per box. If an application requires multiple recorders it can be networked together to provide a unified user interface that can be seamlessly integrated. Once the system is operational it offers a full range of archiving with centralized network backup options to manage calls.
The management options in the STIP provides a Web-based interface that allows anyone with a password to access the system through a browser and go over recordings, reporting and configurations. This allows administrators, reviewers and agents to access all aspects of the system including call recording playback, reporting and configuration anytime and anywhere.
Whether through the browser or on-premises, the advanced design allows users to search, retrieve and playback recordings quickly and easily. Multiple recordings can be searched using several parameters including date, time, channel, user name or extension, call duration, CLI, dialed digits, notes and many more.
By providing compatibility across many different platforms, browser-based access, and a simplified search solution, Storacall STIP gives organizations a call recording platform that can be adapted to meet the requirements of any organization.
