CMS Communications, a company which designs, installs and maintains Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) systems in 12 major markets throughout the U.S. announced it has attained the status as “Certified Partner” of Phybridge (News - Alert).
As a certified partner of VoIP enabler company Phybridge, CMS will be able to offer the industry-leading quality of service guaranties.
Discussing the company’s latest achievement, Glenn Cosman owner of CMS said, “Phybridge is a networking game changer.”
“It allows users to break through the industry paradigm that voice must be converged on their data network,” he added.
An important offering from Phybridge, UniPhyer network switch allows customers to use their existing voice infrastructure to successfully deploy their IP telephony solution with no business or network disruption. It also optimizes the Local Area Network (LAN) for convergence.
The complexities of layering voice on the data network create concerns and barriers to adoption of IP telephony and Unified Communications (UC) solutions. According to company officials, UniPhyer introduces a more customer-centric and better way to optimize the LAN for convergence today, while minimizing management and financial requirements after deployment.
UniPhyer is the only local area network switch in the world to deliver Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) over a single pair with reach of 1,200 ft, the company claims. The solution enables providers to create a physical separate voice path complimenting and extending the existing data network, while optimizing the LAN for convergence.
Phybridge’s UniPhyer appliance creates a “parallel network” which is dedicated for voice and yet which allows for full integration with their existing network.
In comments pertaining to the certification of CMS, John Croce CEO of Phybridge said, “CMS is committed to bringing value to their customers.”
“It was evident in their commitment to make the investments required to bring to customers innovations that allow them to reduce their total cost of ownership while maximizing their return on investment,” Croce added.
