Phybridge's CEO Outlines Customer and Partner Benefits with UniPhyer

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

Traditional voice on data convergence has created many challenges for customers and providers looking to make the switch to IP telephony.

In a bid to make it easier and more cost efficient to deploy VoIP, an Ontario-based provider of IP telephony and networking infrastructure solutions offers the “UniPhyer.”

Officials with Phybridge (News - Alert) Inc., claim this solution is perfect for making the switch without increased costs or management.

The UniPhyer is a VoIP enabler that makes it possible for businesses to run IP telephony without the need for an optimized converged network because the solution converts telephony infrastructure into a complete parallel IP network with power over Ethernet.

“On average, customers will save over 50 percent of typical LAN readiness costs and avoid any surprises with the UniPhyer,” John Croce, Phybridge’s CEO said in a recent TMCnet Podcast.

Customer can also benefit from the UniPhyer, Croce said, because, “it’s a lot less expensive to optimize the LANs for both voice and data.”

This, Croce noted, means partners can “confidently price the LAN readiness component with out any considerations of differences that the customer may have.”

When it comes to cost savings, deploying the UniPhyer also means customers can have a greater return on investment and dedicate extra budget to applications and training on those applications – which will also help drive an even faster return on investment.

“For deployment, there is no disruption both from a network and business perspective,” Croce said.

“Also, there is a guaranteed voice quality of service, a more secure converged network with voice having its own physical path, and of course, day two management costs are also a lot less expensive because again, voice has a physical separated path to the data path – creating a very robust platform.”

All of these benefits are also backed by the company’s unique 100 percent satisfaction guarantee that Croce notes is not provided elsewhere in the industry.

“If the voice quality on a UniPhyer infrastructure does not meet or exceed the accepted standards within the VoIP industry, we will give the customer their money back,” Croce said.

Not only are customers at an advantage if they chose the UniPhyer, but Croce noted that for partners who deal directly with customers, there are also benefits to incorporating the UniPhyer.

“For our partners, when we introduce a new solution, we also ensure the product is easy our partners to use the offering with their customers because it is ultimately their brand that is on the line.”

In addition, partners benefit from reduced overall deployment and sales cycle –allowing them to work with their customers on the applications and training, and ultimately making the customer more productive while allowing them to experience some of the cost savings Unified Communications (News - Alert) or “UC” has to offer.

“Ultimately, the best thing for our partners is that once the customer is satisfied and moving forward with their IP telephony and UC, there’s a greater opportunity for our partners to get referrals from customers because in essence, they’ll be satisfied with the overall experience.”
