XCast Labs, an advanced SaaS (News - Alert) (Software as a Service) provider, has claimed that they have been accredited by MSPAlliance’s (MSPA) Vendor Accreditation Program (VAP).

The MSPA Vendor Accreditation Program is a vendor-neutral program designed by managed service providers (MSPs) for benchmarking service-enabling technology vendors that sell to the MSP community worldwide.

According to officials, the VAP was created using a wide base of criteria considered critical to MSPs when selecting a vendor. Criteria examined during the accreditation process include: Business Practices – with the focus on channel development, channel competition safeguards and experience in the managed services industry; Product Roadmap – vendor’s ability and eagerness to invest in reliable products for the MSPs are analyzed; Financial – vendor’s financial stability is examined; and Client References – vendor has provide at least three MSP-specific client references.
