Patton’s (News - Alert) announcement today of the availability of its 8-to-24-call SmartNode 4660 BRI/FXS/FXO VoIP Gateway Router for mid-sized enterprises and service providers was made in conjunction with Patton-Inalp Networks.
From the halls of the CeBIT (News - Alert) show in Germany, the Patton leaders revealed that they are taking orders for the router, and with it are addressing the demand for VoIP-enabling solutions in European markets. Shipments are expected to start around May of this year.
"We just listened to our customers," said Bernhard Fluehmann, converged IP product manager with Patton-Inalp. He went on, "SmartNode users know all about our can-do culture. Patton is focused on meeting real-world needs and delivering on hard requirements for actual projects. That's how the SN4660 came about. Customers asked and Patton delivered."
Filling the void between high-cost modular VoIP equipment and smaller multi-box solutions, Patton’s SmartNode 4660 is the “fits-just-right” option which serves the mid-sized sector quite well. The router features four 10/100 Ethernet ports providing seamless WAN access via any existing cable, ADSL, VDSL, EFM, or fiber-optic modem.
Familiar with the needs of the mid-sized enterprise, Patton is one itself, and is especially good at manufacturing solutions that combine flexibility with responsive product engineering.
Patton released this exciting news at CeBIT after coming off another release regarding its high-density VoIP gateway launch back in February. The company added the SmartNode 10200 VoIP media gateway series for large enterprise call centers and carriers at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2012. The solution is a high-capacity solution to expand its portfolio beyond its former 2-to-120-call range.
Don’t miss Patton’s various discounts happening throughout March and April which can range from 5 to 20 percent on the SmartNode 4660 pre-orders.
