In order to offer corporate customers higher-quality service migration from existing networks to VoIP, Bouygues Telecom has decided to integrate with Patton (News - Alert). Patton’s VoIP gateways will provide end customers of Bouygues Telecom the ability to deploy VoIP using their existing networks.
"We wanted to offer our customers a high quality telephony to enable them to get more innovative services. To do this, we enlisted the expertise of Patton, a company known for its range of high performance products that are perfectly suited to VoIP solutions for telecom operators," stated Network Director of Bouygues Telecom, Jean-Paul Arzel.
Bouygues Telecom customers will not have to replace their existing PABx equipment with inclusion of the Patton PRI-class SmartNode VoIP gateway.
Bertrand Bouthillier, the director of Patton France, Belgium, Luxembourg, domtom, Denmark and Switzerland Romande, stated recently: "Listening to our customers and their end customers, we are very demanding about the quality and performance of our products. Patton has been on the international front in the news recently as well regarding a conference conducted last week on the benefits of importing/exporting. In a series of panels and opportunities for foreign executives to meet with U.S. business leaders, Patton’s Bobby Patton was a speaker amongst such figures as former President Bill Clinton.
