Inflow Communications has announced the installation of a new ShoreTel (News - Alert) Unified Communications system for NW wholesaler Organically Grown Company (OGC).
Leveraging the power of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) telephony, ShoreTel’s UC solution brings multimedia communications, enterprise applications, and personal information into one integrated environment.
OGC was looking to upgrade its traditional private branch exchange (PBX (News - Alert)) phone system. Company officials said that the company realized that it was not feasible to continue with the same old system, which had limited functionality, in the increasingly mobile workforce environment
The company selected ShoreTel for UC and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) phones. Paul Wogan, director of IT at OGC, said that he selected Inflow Communications as the provider because of the company’s “outstanding reputation” for project management, customer service and technical support following installation.
Wogan also noted Inflow’s transparency during the sales process as a deciding factor. “It was very clear what options were available, and what would or would not be a good fit for us. I felt Inflow really listened to what our needs were versus what they could sell us,” he said, adding that at Organically Grown, integrity and partnership are two of the key values, and both the companies had a good connection there.
In two separate stages, the installation was introduced for OGC’s offices in Eugene and Portland, Oregon. Company officials said that the installation included project planning during pre-implementation to help prepare for the new UC system. Following installation,
Moreover, Inflow’s technical staff conducted classroom training and answered employee questions. Plus, follow-up visits were made to address individual needs.
Inflow Communications is a business phone system and video conferencing provider with offices in Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington and San Francisco, California. The company specializes in ShoreTel VoIP phone systems with UC integration and other business communication technology including network infrastructure and HD video conferencing.
Earlier last year in November, the company received the 2012 ShoreTel Outstanding Customer Achievement Award, which recognized the company for excellence in customer service and support.
