Businesses are turning to VoIP services for their quality, cost savings features and ability to increase productivity all through a high-speed Internet connection. For some users, making the decision to switch to VoIP isn’t as difficult as actually selecting a provider. There are numerous providers that offer different features, pricing, packages, quality and service. How do you choose?
As a user, don’t you wish there was a place where you could find out what type of review would best help with VoIP service decisions? Or as a VoIP service provider, what you can do to help users define accurate information? GetVoIP aims to answer these questions and more, such as what’s wrong with some traditional visualizations of VoIP, in an upcoming Google Hangout.
“It shouldn't be this difficult. All we really want to do is talk to people. We want to start our computers, open the program, and make our calls over our internet connection. In some cases, we may just want to pick up the phone and make an old fashioned phone call that happens to use the internet to transmit our voices,” GetVoIP explained in a recent blog post. “Either way, it would seem that choosing a VoIP provider is harder than it needs to be. The truth of the matter is that picking a product or service online can be more daunting than making a choice in a store.”
GetVoIP.com (News - Alert) is striving to set a precedent to help small businesses and consumers get direct access to pose their feedback to the VoIP industry via a Google Hangout.
GetVoIP.com is a resource for everything VoIP; reviews, comparisons, features, news and more are featured on its site to help users make the most informed decisions. Tomorrow, GetVoIP and other telecommunications experts and VoIP providers will host a Google (News - Alert) Hangout at 1 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST to discuss effective methods of choosing VoIP products and services.
“GetVoIP’s objective is to help consumers find the perfect provider and make VoIP Decisions quick and easy. With that in mind, we are excited to host our very first Hangout, which will address common consumer concerns, featuring a star guest VoIP Evangelist from 8x8, Inc,” Reuben Yonatan (News - Alert), CEO and editor-in-chief at GetVoIP.com, said in a statement. "This is our first free live webinar to enable VoIP users and Small Business real access to expert advisors on how to expand upon their base of communication operations. We are excited to see who will participate and make use of free expert access and consultation.”
The #GetVoIP Hangout is designed to connect users with the company’s staff and other industry experts who will guide users through a variety of topics and questions, and open up the floor for attendees to voice their own questions, comments and insights.
The event is happening tomorrow, but a recorded version will also be available to watch afterward.
