In the ever-expanding world of VoIP, it seems like there is a new company popping up almost daily that claims to offer the latest and best offerings for this nascent technology. Yet one company is actually delivering all that is promised, in one package. That company is VoIP Defender.
Based out of Volo, Illinois, VoIP Defender is a one-stop business communications and networking company, and the master distributor of AtomOS software. VoIP Defender specializes in delivering economical VoIP phone systems, along with easy-to-use, multi-functional and secure networking Software, better known as Unified Communications as a Service, or UCaaS.
At the recent ITEXPO (News - Alert) Anaheim 2015 show, Rich Wilhelm, Director of Large Format Sales at VoIP Defender, sat down with TMC’s Allison Boccamazzo, to talk about what VoIP Defender has been up to recently. He opened by talking a little about his company.
“We’re a technology company that provides voice and networking technology for businesses and organizations,” Wilhelm said. “We scale, serving organizations that are very small up to large enterprises.”
The company, with a strong international presence in Asia, is now looking to expand as well here in the U.S.
“The VoIP Defender product is an all-in-one solution, providing networking, firewall, spam filtering” and a number of other options, he explained.
There are a number of advantages to going with a company such as his, because instead of going with multiple vendors, a client can go with just one company and leave the diversification up to them, saving both time and money. “They can get one solution that solves all of their networking and unified communications needs,” he added.
He went on to explain that one reason the company is so popular in Asia is because it offers a number of solutions that can be adapted to different needs.
