Under the terms of the partnership, Streakwave will focus on Aruba product lines including Aruba Instant, a plug-and-play, secure, multimedia-ready Wi-Fi solution; Aruba AirWave (News - Alert) Network Management; and Aruba ClearPass Access Management System.
Robert Bruce, Aruba Networks' vice president of channel sales, said in a statement, "Streakwave's seasoned sales and expert pre-sales support organizations will take us into new market segments, complementing our existing distribution programs, and we're delighted to welcome them into our channel."
The partnership will help to power wireless connectivity and two-way radio capabilities, enabling telecommunications resellers to deliver end-to-end secure mobility solutions for their enterprise, education, government, and healthcare customers.
"Traditionally our resellers, integrators, and wireless Internet service providers have focused on connectivity," said Carl Moberg, CEO of Streakwave Wireless, added. "Today, however, there's growing demand for multimedia applications and BYOD initiatives that mandate feature-rich, robust, and scalable enterprise Wi-Fi networks that are highly secure. Aruba's products address these needs and fit exceptionally well into our product portfolio."
Aruba Instant targets small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), small-to-medium businesses (SMBs), and a wide range of vertical markets. These highly affordable 802.11n access points self-form into enterprise-class, highly secure Wi-Fi networks.
Aruba AirWave Network Management provides end-to-end management of multivendor, multisite networks by offering solutions such as user location and mapping, real-time monitoring, proactive alerts, historical reporting and troubleshooting aides. Additionally, the
Aruba ClearPass Access Management System is designed to meet the needs of BYOD provisioning and onboarding. It makes the path easier for IT-issued and personal mobile devices to securely connect to any network.
"Aruba Instant is tailor-made to deliver enterprise-class security and performance in a solution that both costs less and can be set-up in less than five minutes," Josh Kwok, CTO of Streakwave Wireless concluded. "This is a truly complementary addition to Streakwave's broad offering of outdoor and indoor wireless equipment, and one we believe our customers will rapidly adopt."
