Wireless connectivity provider AT&T has expanded its 4G LTE (News - Alert) network in El Paso, bringing its latest generation of wireless network technologies to the region. The service enables faster mobile Internet speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G. LTE is ideal for customers who want to stream, download, upload and game faster than ever before.
AT&T’s (News - Alert) 4G LTE wireless connectivity service is available on several LTE-compatible devices, including brand new AT&T 4G LTE smartphones and tablets such as the Sony Xperia TL , LG Optimus G , Samsung Galaxy S III , Motorola (News - Alert) ATRIX HD , HTC One X , Nokia Lumia 900 , Samsung Galaxy Note and Pantech Element tablet.
"We continue to see demand for mobile Internet skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in El Paso responds to what customers want from their mobile experience – more, faster, on the best devices," said Irma Bocanegra, AT&T regional director of External Affairs El Paso, in a statement.
The service is also highlighted as powering lower latency, in other words, reduced processing time. It also significantly improves capabilities including two-way video calling and telemedicine.
Additionally, LTE has the ability to use the wireless spectrum more efficiently than other competitive technologies. As a result, the network gets more space to carry data traffic and services and to deliver a better network experience to users overall.
Faster wireless connectivity in El Paso means rapid growth for businesses in that community. And businesses can improve customer satisfaction, stay in continuous touch with employees and be competitive in the global market.
Commenting on this development in El Paso, David E. Saucedo, business developer, The Saucedo Company added, “It's private investment, unfettered by heavy-handed regulation, in critical technology infrastructure that will help El Paso and our community flourish and prosper for years to come.”
