- Alert), announced the launch of Bluefish mgmt, a wireless management service.
Bluefish mgmt is designed to enable companies to optimize, streamline and maintain their wireless portfolios.
Bluefish mgmt is an official provider of the new Sprint Mobility Management offering. As a direct partner of Sprint, Bluefish mgmt can be invoiced directly on Sprint’s bill.
Leveraging the Sprint Mobility Management solution, companies can better manage their wireless portfolios of end-users, carriers, devices and services.
“Sprint and Bluefish have had over a 10-year partnership, and we’re excited to launch this new exclusive tool with our long-time partners,” said Scott Kraege, director of Bluefish Wireless, in a statement. “Bluefish mgmt will provide Sprint customers with access to a proven mobility management solution.”
Bluefish Wireless works directly with carriers to improve everything from procurement to support to billing.
Important components of Bluefish mgmt include a cross carrier Web-based portal, ongoing telecom expense management (TEM) and around-the-clock end-user support from trained representatives at Bluefish Wireless.
Bluefish mgmt provides configurable solutions for companies to effectively manage their wireless users and portfolios.
Bluefish Bluefish mgmt is designed to offer clear, comprehensive reporting analysis of the company’s wireless usage and inventory. It is expected that the utilization of Bluefish mgmt will assist companies to gain better understanding of how their money is being spent.
Recently, Sprint Nextel announced that it joined the University of Notre Dame’s research center aimed at developing innovations and educating students in wireless technology, economics and regulatory policy in a three-year study by The Wireless Institute.
It will assist the Wireless Institute by offering 200 devices and two years of service for the students who volunteer for the study, funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
