Wireless Analytics, a provider of outsourced mobility management services, announced that Erik Eames, its founder and managing director, has become a member of three committees of the Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA (News - Alert)).

Eames’ joining of governing committees will be a big boost to Wireless Analytics, which was rated #1 in customer service in 2011 among 70 wireless mobility management firms by AOTMP, an industry research firm in fixed and mobile telecom.

Eames’ presence will be utilized to increase TEMIA’s objective to further enhance awareness.

Moreover, TEMIA, a not-for-profit organization guided by service and industry solution providers, is looking at accelerating knowledge of the values and benefits of TEM solutions.

“We were excited to join the TEMIA ranks this fall, and in this new position I’m looking forward to collaborating with other TEM companies to promote best practices for the wireless expense management industry,” Eames said in a statement. “I hope our efforts will create a clearer picture of the future of the TEM industry, which in turn will give us the tools we need to plan for that future.”

Enhancing the value of TEM solutions by developing and promoting open industry standards is also a priority for the industry association that was set up by telecom expense management (TEM) service providers in 2006.

Moreover, improving industry knowledge among TEM solution providers, business partners, telecom service providers, and enterprise clients is also on the agenda of TEMIA, an agency with more than 38 member businesses that manage more than $61 billion of telecom and data spending for companies around the world.

“We look forward to having Erik and Wireless Analytics participate on our committees as we work to shape the future of the industry,” said Joe Basili, TEMIA’s managing director.
