Recently, a major South American operator signed a $1.4 million deal that would expand its RADCOM solution. This brings the investment to a total sum of approximately $7 million dollars, a strategic move made by the operator in its deployment of RADCOM equipment for monitoring networks and improving test assurance solutions within the wireless telecommunications space.
"RADCOM's scalable solution makes it easy for our customers to expand their deployment to additional technologies and sites," said Ronen Hovav, VP sales global accounts, RADCOM, in a statement. "Yet again, RADCOM is reaping the results of its efforts to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction."
The operator is a long term, satisfied RADCOM customer who already uses the company’s Omni-Q service management solution to monitor network performance and quality of service on both its national and international NGN and mobile networks.
The Omni-Q Service Assurance solution monitors multiple services such as VoIP, video, IPTV (News - Alert), wireless and data. It employs a comprehensive array of service, network performance and measurement methodologies to continuously analyze service performance and quality.
With the current expansion of its UMTS 3G network, as a satisfied RADCOM customer, it was only natural for the organization to expand the deployment of RADCOM's system, in order to continue to provide an optimal customer experience to its subscribers.
RADCOM's scalable solution made it easy to expand its coverage of the Tier One network to now monitor almost 4 billion XDRs a day.
Last month, RADCOM revealed that its Omni-Q Service Assurance solution could now be run on tablet devices. This robust solution offers innovative troubleshooting and in-depth QoE (Quality of Experience) analysis for all telecom operators’ subscriber voice and data activity.
Further, RADCOM is now able to leverage this technology on Apple’s (News - Alert) new iPad platform thus allowing operators to connect with their customers, as well as vital information at any time from any place to assure that their subscribers receive premium quality at all times.
