TransPerfect, a provider of language services and translation-related technologies, announced the opening of a new remote interpretation facility in Arizona.

“We see this new facility as a key opportunity to fortify our existing resources in remote interpreting,” said Liz Elting, CEO of TransPerfect, in a statement. “The technology advances and bandwidth gains will deliver an immediate and significant improvement to the level of service we’re able to offer our clients.”

Leveraging the facility, TransPerfect will be able to improve the remote interpreting experience for its clients and their end users.

The new technology hosted on-site enables TransPerfect to supplement existing capabilities with increased call capacity, improved redundancy and security, and additional client service personnel.

TransPerfect is trying to tap a growing market. Remote language interpreting needs are growing. The company is offering device-independent connectivity in order to meet the diverse requirements of its clients.

TransPerfect is the world’s only provider of remote interpreting capabilities that support any device, including over-the-phone interpretation (OPI), Voice over IP (VoIP), Web-based audio, Web-based video, and all major video conferencing platforms. Its offers services in over 170 languages and features industry-specialist interpreters screened for subject expertise, according to company officials.

Recently, TransPerfect announced that Pearl Therapeutics implemented TransPerfect's Trial Interactive electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) solution for the company's clinical development programs.
