Openwave Messaging Partners with Numergy

Openwave (News - Alert) Messaging Inc., has entered into a partnership with French cloud services provider Numergy.

Openwave Messaging is a global provider of innovative messaging solutions for service providers and enterprise companies. The world-class product portfolio includes a complete messaging environment optimized for today’s most complex messaging requirements. The company’s products are available as software or appliances, and can be deployed on premise, in a hosted datacenter or in the Cloud.

Thanks to the pact, Numergy’s resellers and partners would now be able to offer their customers Openwave Messaging’s industry leading messaging solution as part of Numergy’s cloud service in France.

Officials with Numergy said that Openwave Messaging’s world-class messaging solution completes the Numergy IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) offering.

According to company officials, the company’s mission is to provide businesses and public organizations secured, efficient and competitive IT resources.

“Customers are looking for cloud solutions to address the fundamental issues of performance, functionality and value, together with comprehensive security and hosting in their local territory,” said Frank Bossel, sales director at Numergy, in a statement. 

Bossel said that the internationally recognized solution from Openwave Messaging adds these capabilities to Numergy’s cloud offering.

Pierre-Louis Lussan, regional manager, Scandinavia, Belgium, France and Africa for Openwave Messaging said that Numergy is an important and dynamic player in the French cloud computing landscape.  “We are pleased to complete their cloud offering with our industry-leading messaging solutions.”

Earlier in April, Openwave Messaging  announced that Belgacom (News - Alert), Belgium’s premier communications operator, has deployed Openwave Messaging’s Universal Messaging Suite to 2 million mailboxes in Belgium. 

Users will now have access to innovative email and messaging features, including 1 GB data storage.

 Openwave Messaging’s Universal Messaging Suite is a powerful, open messaging environment optimized for today’s most complex messaging requirements including millions of mailboxes, security controls, identity management, flexible storage and ease of integration with internal systems and external partners.
