Sprint's MPLS Network to Boost Thinking Phone Networks' UC Suite
June 06, 2014
Service providers, PBX (News - Alert) vendors and enterprises have constantly been challenged when it comes to providing secure, fast delivery and deployment of critical cloud applications. But hopefully this will change - a reciprocal relationship between Thinking Phone (News - Alert) Networks' service with Sprint's global business MPLS services is expected to overcome the network bottlenecks and pave the way for smooth delivery.
Sprint’s (News - Alert) new CAP program enables cloud solution providers to offer customers direct and secure connectivity to their cloud application through its MPLS network. Sprint has been working hard to expand its cloud services portfolio both internally and through third-party partnerships, and Thinking Phones is one of the first companies to join Sprint’s CAP Extranet.
"Sprint offers a rich portfolio of cloud-based collaboration tools to businesses today" said Craig Safir, director of cloud and converged markets at Sprint, and added, "This greatly reduces the time it takes for a cloud solution provider to onboard new customers."
Thinking Phone Networks plays an important role in this relationship as the quality of network is critical in the delivery of real-time cloud communications. It offers business customers high-quality cloud unified communications along with dramatically reduced delivery timeframes.
“We are excited to work with Sprint to provide a secure solution for our suite of UC products," said Chris Hurley, vice president of strategic alliances at Thinking Phone Networks.
Existing Sprint MPLS customers can now quickly be connected to a CAP Extranet provider (in this case-Thinking Phone Networks). Extranets are cloud-based applications that enable businesses to connect their customers and partners directly to their business processes. Hence, Sprint’s CAP program will enable cloud solution providers to offer their customers direct and secure connectivity to their cloud applications through Sprint’s global MPLS network.
Sprint's commitment to innovation and the international coverage of its network when coupled with Thinking Phone Networks’ ability to transform the way enterprises collaborate and streamline business processes is a win-win for both companies as well as for their customers.
