Bluelock, a certified VMware vCloud data center provider for mid-size and large enterprises, and a provider of flexible IT infrastructures, recently introduced the Bluelock 2-Series Virtual Datacenters.

Bluelock's new 2-Series Virtual Datacenters offer customers a scalable, on-demand Virtual Datacenter designed to enable quick deployment of public cloud resources and considerable day-to-day flexibility. They also allow customers to adjust compute, storage and memory allocations within their resource pool as needed.

This Virtual Datacenter type provides an optimal combination of pay-as-you-go pricing and essential capabilities to deploy pre-production workloads, including functional testing, development and demonstrations.

It was because of client and market demand that Bluelock created 2-Series VDCs to complement its flagship 5-Series VDCs, which now offers various levels of growth capacity.

In related news, Bluelock announced that it was selected by Codesigned, a technology services firm focused on collaboration solutions, to facilitate the delivery of its hosted Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint solution.
