Recently, the company partnered with PT DCI in Indonesia to offer data center infrastructure and colocation services to Indonesian companies.
This new partnership is expected to provide various data centers such as colocation, interconnection, support and monitoring services to the customers. Phase one of the new project is expected to be completed in 2013, and this 65,000 gross square feet facility will house 1,250 cabinets, the company has stated.
This new move by Equinix will help its customers all over the world further enhance their presence in Indonesia. It will also allow new entrants in Indonesia to make use of Equinix services in this country.

Recently, the company announced that its third International Business Exchange (IBX) data center in Amsterdam, AM3 Science Park, is completely functional.
