A new IT development and management platform from FatCloud is delivering .NET (News - Alert) applications in less time and at a lower cost.
The company has also announced its public debut after about five years of team- and product-building.
Designed to leverage .NET and the Microsoft (News - Alert) ecosystem, the new platform- FatCloud -has the ability to eradicate conventional IT development barriers and accelerates application time-to-market.
These accomplishments are achieved thanks to a platform that enables scale-out processing, data management, and availability/redundancy.
The newly introduced platform FatCloud enables companies of all sizes to empower their IT and focus on accelerating their business strategy, product innovation and growth.
“FatCloud allowed us to handle the growth of Muve Music without blinking,” said John Bolton, head of Product, Muve Music at Cricket Wireless. “It has proven to be a reliable and scalable infrastructure and has effortlessly handled everything we have thrown at it.”
Elaborating further on the platform, FatCloud says that because it uses Microsoft's standard Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) stack, developers already know several key concepts central to the platform.
FatCloud allows .NET staff to be up and running in hours, not weeks and this in turn preserves existing IT investments as well as reduces development time and costs.
"There is no other scale-out development platform for .NET in existence today that makes application development and deployment as seamless, reliable and fast as FatCloud," said Ian Miller, CEO of FatCloud.
