PlusOne recently announced that it will now provide customers with a enterprise-class suite of Cloud-based services from its Chicago, IL Datacenter facility. The company’s latest offering, which is based on PeakColo’s VMware vCloud Powered solutions, will further build on its colocation services offerings. In a statement, Kevin Francis, PlusOne's director of Real Estate, said that, "PlusOne will differentiate itself by delivering its own branded, enterprise-class Cloud-based services to our customers. In addition to these Cloud-based services, our operating model will continue to deliver best-in-class infrastructure solutions comparable to nationally recognized competitors, but at a more attractive value to customers."

As cloud computing takes precedence, a large number of PlusOne customers are keen on deploying cloud services capable of running as enterprise-class Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). The company’s product and services portfolio however, includes reliable physical infrastructure and colocation services, and not cloud technology. This is why PlusOne went ahead with finding a partner capable of delivering a white-label IaaS solution.
