Guardtime has partnered with CAT Buzz, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CAT Telecom Public Company Limited, a government-owned telecom in Thailand; and CloudSec Asia, an international information security firm, to deliver document integrity solutions in Thailand.
"With the majority of today's document exchange being electronic, it is important to have the ability to track the document's origin as well as to ensure that the document's contents are in its original form," said Nuththinun Suksomphong, CEO at CAT Buzz, in a statement.
"Guardtime's solution enables our customers to have an independently verifiable tamper-evident audit trail for all the electronic documents we create, transmit and archive," said Suksomphong.
Mike Gault, CEO at Guardtime, said that dematerialization is the requirement of the day, and an explosion in customer interest in the company’s electronic document solutions from all parts of the world is a testament to that.
“We're thrilled to be working together with our partners in the Thai market to enable trust for electronic documents," said Gault.
Guardtime is a source of keyless signature technology for validating the integrity and authenticity of digital data. Guardtime Keyless Signatures are binary tags, or “signatures,” for electronic data that vouch for the signing time, signing entity and that not a single bit has changed since that signing time.
Verification of the signature can be done offline without reliance on keys, secrets or the presence of a trusted third party.
Earlier in December, Philippine Department of Transportation and Communications had announced that it has selected Guardtime and local partner Trust Technologies, to pilot the Link2Cloud solution to quickly and reliably verify physical document authenticity in certain field conditions.
Guardtime’s Link2Cloud solution takes advantage of the Keyless Signature technology to store tamper-evident benchmark digital images of physical documents in a cloud infrastructure and connected smartphone devices to display them, and enable officials to compare the benchmark image to the presented physical document.
The program is rapidly deployable on its own or to complement any existing IT systems, and with a pay-as-you-go cost model it yields its users an immediate return on investment.
