LogFire said that it will be participant at ProMat International Expo 2013, scheduled to commence today in Chicago.

The company intends to demonstrate its cloud-based extended warehouse management solution (WMS) capabilities. It offers solutions for warehouse operations with wide-ranging features and capabilities, while reducing upfront investment with software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) pricing model.

Company officials said that the capabilities they plan to showcase are automation and control for sophisticated materials that are handling equipment.

Diego Pantoja-Navajas, founder and CEO of LogFire, said that the company is helping its clients to rethink and redo their supply chain and logistics operations by enabling them to automate their warehouse operations in the cloud.

“We’ve shown that the LogFire multi-tenant cloud-based warehouse management solutions provides the depth of configurable omni-channel process requirements necessary for companies of all sizes, offering a more cost effective and innovative alternative to traditional systems,” Pantoja-Navajas said.

LogFire is a provider of managed services and innovative cloud-based supply chain execution and warehouse management solutions for manufacturers, wholesalers, logistics service providers, (3PLs) retailers and e-commerce companies of all sizes.

With LogFire, companies have enhanced the process of their supply chain execution. In addition, it has also helped companies improve their warehouse businesses. Company officials said that LogFire is a “multi-channel source” that provides cloud-based technology. It’s a source to consumption, distribution management and in-store inventory management solution.

The company offers integration of radio frequency (RF) hand held with vehicle mounted devices, voice solutions, and also bar code and RFID printing. The company also provides the integration of material handling equipment such as conveyer systems, tilt and carton sortation, and pick/put to light systems.

Sponsored by the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA), ProMat offer over 100 educational and networking sessions spread over four days. Nearly 30,000 attendees are expected to attend the event at Chicago McCormick Place. ProMat said that this year, it is co-located with Automate 2013, which will enable attendees to maximize their time, as well as help them to arrive at a decision to pick the installations that will improve operations of their companies.

Earlier this month, Blue Ridge and LogFire announced their strategic partnership to form a demand-driven, multi-tenant, end-to-end supply chain solution in the Cloud.
