NEC (News - Alert) Corporation of America has chosen Cyber Innovation Labs (CIL) as its core data center platform for delivering its Cloud Computing Solutions to the North American Market. CIL is a provider of IaaS solutions, and provides the FLEXCenter platform to enterprise clients for a complete data center transformation strategy.

NEC will use CIL's facilities located at "The Underground," a 145-acre facility in Boyers, PA managed by Iron Mountain. The partnership will help NEC expand its North American cloud offerings, which include IaaS, UCaaS, SaaS (News - Alert) and managed services targeted toward the financial services, healthcare, government, education and legal markets.

The FLEXCenter platform will be at the heart of NEC's services expansion, enabling the company to modulate its needs over time to migrate from a traditional Tier 3 plus data center to a dedicated "Cloud in a Vault." The platform offers a 100 percent dedicated, single tenant, retractable, secure and fully compliant audit-capable cloud stack.

NEC will offer an audit, security and compliance foundation at the core of its cloud offering, through which enterprises may deploy their mission-critical systems and applications in a private and physically dedicated environment. The NEC Data Center Transformation will provide full-cycle management for enterprises contemplating a move to the cloud, and the company's Cloud Computing Center will serve as a disaster recovery center as well as a regional parts and services depot. The ultimate goal of the Cloud Computing Center is to deliver unparalleled service uptime and superior customer satisfaction.

CIL offers scalable, high-efficiency and SSAE 16 certified data center facilities. The IaaS provider delivers 2N Tier-3+ availability, including security, reliability and control.
