CloudJumper, BASIS International Team Up for New Device-Agnostic Access Option

A new move in cloud-based information technology (IT) brings together two firms to provide a great new option for users. The combination of CloudJumper—known for its workspace as a service (WaaS) platform—and BASIS International is set to produce an exciting new option in the field. The two together will mean BASIS' AddOnSoftware ERP tool will be available as a cloud-based delivery option.

With CloudJumper and BASIS working together, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool will be available from the cloud, meaning that software deployment can be done faster, and that in turn will help drop costs of bringing business software into play.

Since BASIS offers a complete programming language based on the Business BASIC system, giving it access to cloud-based systems can help not only drive development in general but allow the produce of that development to get to market faster. Throw in the ERP tools BASIS offers, backed up by the cloud systems that CloudJumper can add, and that means even more urgency for the development process.

BASIS' CEO, Nico Spence, commented “The partnership with CloudJumper has expanded our total addressable market while simplifying the delivery, management, and maintenance for our customers. We have received very favorable feedback from our partners about the CloudJumper solution as it removes many barriers to deployment while growing their share of business. The solution allows additional business applications, such as the integrated GoldMine Cloud CRM solution, to be added to the platform simply and easily, leaving the door open to future revenue growth.”

It's a fairly complex proposition, but in the end, it's all about streamlining efforts. Businesses need materials to get where they're most needed, whether these materials are for products  or for internal operations. Software is no less a product than copper and silicon, and so, a new move like BASIS and CloudJumper's might well gain a lot of traction for companies looking to get software into play faster and lose less time to the hiccups and missteps so often involved in new software deployment.

Time savings, commonly, lead to money savings, and BASIS and CloudJumper may have a tool to make both happen. That's good news for a lot of companies out there, and in all likelihood, good news for BASIS and CloudJumper, who will have a valuable new product for offer.
