AboveNet Works With i/o Data Centers at its Phoenix ONE Facility

AboveNet, Inc. has stated that it is working with i/o Data Centers at its Phoenix ONE facility to address the growing bandwidth demands and offer an array of low-latency, gigabit speed networking services.

 
The company provides high bandwidth connectivity solutions for business and carriers. i/o Data Centers is the provider of wholesale colocation and data center solutions.
 
i/o Data Centers claims that its 538,000 square-foot Phoenix ONE data center is reportedly the largest commercially available data center in the US, with an area equivalent to nine football fields. The facility was built with the intention to offer highly reliable and efficient service and incorporating a number of diverse and green data center systems to provide ‘always on’ operations for its customers. By running on solar power it can also help its clients who work within it reduce their carbon footprint.
 
AboveNet has stated that its fiber networks are built with the sole purpose of transferring high bandwidth data traffic and moving into the Phoenix ONE facility will help address i/o Data Centers’ rising demand for increased bandwidth. i/o Data Centers’ customers will benefit from the extensive fiber network of AboveNet.
 
Officials have stated that they have worked collaboratively with i/o Data Centers to build a world class, state of the art, low latency fiber network. The company claims that their network will allow i/o's customers to have reliable, industry-leading network connectivity.
 
i/o Data Centers has stated that it offers a range of colocation suites that are tailor made to the client’s requirements. i/o Data Centers offers carrier-neutral colocation and, by offering access to AboveNet's highly optimized optical network their customers will be able to achieve minimal latency while maintaining superior route diversity. AboveNet solutions are stated to operate on an affordable and integrated all-optical infrastructure that removes constraints on information exchange.
 
Officials at i/o Data Centers added that as the demand for increased bandwidth and 24/forever connectivity continues they are glad being able to offer their customers access to a variety of Tier 1 providers like AboveNet.
 
AGL Networks had announced the completion of a fiber expansion i/o Data Centers new facility.
