support.
Skip2PBX makes it possible for business to utilize Skype (News - Alert) via a modified Linux core—for a Network Secure and stable way to have Skype functionality and without the need to change operating systems.
Skip2PBX version 2.1 not only makes it easier for businesses to use Skype and reduce their communications expenses, with the new version, which includes support for SIP on all new Basic and Enterprise editions, its possible to use Skip2PBX with IP
phones and PBX (News - Alert) systems as well.
The new version with SIP support is designed to work in both the client and server modes, and allows companies making the move to all VoIP
environments the ability to remain empowered by the business functionality offered by Skype.
New features of version 2.1 of Skip2PBX outlined by the company include:
-New “guided configuration” process for installing and configuring Skip2PBX.
-SIP Support (G.711 audio codec's)
-100% Asterisk (News - Alert) Compatible.
-New Linux Kernel 2.6.20
-Graphic hardware configuration
-Improved on-line help and User’s Guide.
-Support for SANGOMA cards.
-Additional TIPS for using TOOLS.
-Automatically adds Skype contacts to address book.
-Exportation of address book in CSV.
-Automatically recovers Skype lines.
