In the same week that it announces
the release of version 6.3 of its PINNACLE Communication Management Suite of integrated software applications, a Fairport, N.Y.-based company that provides data, voice and Internet solutions to business-class customers is making key changes to its management team.
Officials at PAETEC (News
) Software Corp. have promoted industry veteran Jeff Howe to president of their central region, and also developed new responsibilities for current Senior Vice Presidents Dan Reinbold and Donna Wenk.
In his new role, Howe will serve as senior vice president and president of the central region, overseeing direct and channel sales, account development and operations in that region.
Howe told TMCnet in an interview that his roots in the Midwest go deep and that he’s had a “similar leadership role in the past with another carrier.
“We have very capable and experienced employees in the central region,” he said. “I am anxiously looking forward to leveraging the team's talent in order to grow and serve our existing and new customers in each market.”
Howe has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in telecommunications, wireless and software industries. He most recently served as president of Allworx (News
), a PAETEC subsidiary specializing in IP-based phone and network systems. Howe said he has plans to relocate to Chicago.
At the same time, the company announced that current senior vice president and president of the Central Region, Dan Reinbold, will now lead as president of the company’s south region. Additionally, Donna Wenk, senior vice president of sales operations and customer care will add overall national responsibility for PAETEC’s agent channel.
Reinbold told TMCnet: “The South Region is an extremely strong for PAETEC, but also one with tremendous growth potential. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on the history of success we’ve seen in this area.”
In his new role, he will lead sales and operations for over 20 sales offices across ten southeastern states. Reinbold is a veteran sales and training leader, receiving national recognition in 2007 as Sales Trainer of the Year by the Stevie Awards sponsored by Selling Power magazine and has led PAETEC’s training department to Training magazine’s Training Top 125 for 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Arunas A. Chesonis, the company’s CEO, said he’s “very pleased with the extensive talent and experience that we’ll gain with these leadership changes.”
“Each officer brings an impressive career of effective senior leadership along with technical expertise,” Chesonis said. “I’m confident in their abilities to execute our long-term strategic vision.”
Wenk will help coordinate the agent channel program in addition to her current responsibilities. PAETEC’s agent channel currently generates approximately 40 percent of PAETEC’s overall revenue. Wenk was an original founder of PAETEC, starting in 1998 and has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. She currently oversees PAETEC’s call centers, account development, and sales operations.
