New York City-based Send Word Now has announced that it will offer an Incident Management (IM) service and a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Service, and that both the services will be fully integrated with its core notification service.

The company is a provider of on-demand alerting and response services for both routine and emergency communication. Its mass notification system is capable of transmitting hundreds of thousands of voice and text messages in minutes.

In a release, Tony Schmitz, president and CEO at Send Word Now, sai customers have come to rely upon the company’s messaging platform’s ability to transmit hundreds of thousands of email, voice and text messages in minutes, allowing rapid two-way communication to any location in the world, via any communication device.

“Send Word Now has continually led by innovation and the marketplace wants an easy to use, cost effective, single vendor solution for alerting, incident management and business continuity planning, and that is what our enhanced suite of services will deliver,” he added.

The enhanced service offering is expected to be available this quarter and early in Q1 2010.

Additionally, the company also announced the launch of its Worldwide Affiliate Testing Network, claiming that it’s the first provider in the industry to introduce such a program.

The test messages sent to the Worldwide Affiliate Testing Network accurately and reliably replicate the traffic that an actual customer might transmit across the Send Word Now platform.

Using real traffic, the Worldwide Affiliate Testing Network enables Send Word Now to continually verify the delivery capabilities of the telecommunications networks of third-party carriers.

Company officials said that the Worldwide Affiliate Testing Network is made up of Send Word Now test affiliates in a dozen countries who receive and respond to voice, SMS and email messages sent daily by Send Word Now.

Send Word Now said that it plans to expand its Worldwide Affiliate Testing Network into dozens of other countries during the remainder of 2009 and the first half of 2010.
