China Unicom USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beijing based China Unicom (News

The connections with CENX’s (News - Alert) exchange in Los Angeles brings new business links with China Unicom’s customers in more than 100 countries and is a driver for the buying and selling of services between China Unicom’s vast network and the large number of existing CENX service provider members.
Yitao Wu, president of China Unicom Americas, said, “CENX’s ability to integrate seamlessly with our family of China Unicom Connect Services between the USA and China and between China and Europe makes them an ideal partner. We believe that the ability to buy and sell via CENX provides the simplest possible way for service providers to realize new business relationships with China Unicom.”
Nan Chen, president of CENX, said, “Our carrier Ethernet exchanges are the world’s first and largest service-level interconnects and the new connections further strengthen what has already become a significant new network meeting point for business class applications between members.”
